Muskrat with his mouth full
The muskrat population at the marsh has increased over the years. They are amusing creatures to watch. This fellow was busily stuffing his/her mouth with marsh greens.
Thanks, Lois, for showing off our marsh to the world...I'm learning a lot about ducks from your wonderful photos: the ruddy duck with it's robin egg blue bill, the red necked duck and the mallard mix...how interesting!
