At one point on my walk this morning, I could hear splashing out on the marsh. When I checked its source with my binoculars, I discovered that it was a foursome of (I think) young Green-winged Teals, who were continually diving under the surface and popping up again, one after the other. Mom was nonchalantly looking on. In this photo, two of the young ducks are under the water.
